Since I became legal, i have been working towards my dream of owning a nightclub and a place like Rick’s Cafe in Casablanca.
In my first few weeks of being 18, seeing as, for me, my age had been the only obstacle for a whole year, I applied for a couple of internships to get to know myself in the industry, and the industry itself better.
Unfortunately, i did not get any internships due to this and that.
I decided to make my own experience, holding cocktail events. 2 so far. I got some great experience and feedback from everyone who attended and seeing people make new friends, thanks to me, reinforced my confidence in my goals.
We do make our own luck!

So, Hard work and positivity landed me an amazing job at one of the best restaurants and lounge in Kenya, Seven Restaurants Ltd.

I applied for bar tending, however, after 3 interviews and one with the directors, they offered me a Marketing position.
So, guess who’s in charge of marketing for Seven Restaurants Ltd
One of the directors & Head Chef aka my boss is Kiran Jethwa. He is extremely accomplished, and among those accomplishments is a TV show, Tales from the Bush Larder which has been picked up by Fox International as well as showing on ZUKU in Kenya.
I’m honored that he and his fellow directors have so much faith in me.
But all this wouldn’t have been possible without God.
and this is only the beginning…
