“This is one of the many cocktails which has altered with changing tastes since it was invented in the 1930s when it was based on gin, rather than vodka and mixed with grenadine and lemon juice instead” of the following recipe.

-> 1 measure vodka

-> 1 1/2 measures cranberry juice

-> 1 1/2 measures grapefruit juice

-> 5 ice cubes, crushed

-> Cherries and straws to decorate

Pour the vodka, cranberry juice and grapefruit juice in a hurricane glass filled with crushed ice and stir to mix well. Decorate and serve :)
